Corporation Counsel Sylvia Hinds-Radix says she’s still evaluating whether to provide a City Hall lawyer to defend Timothy Pearson from lawsuit alleging workplace misconduct — while still repping the mayor as he fights a civil sex assault claim.

It’s a choice. The city’s Law Department doesn’t have to defend employees if it determines they weren’t acting in an official capacity or if they violated department rules.
